Resources for learning CBT for Psychosis

There’s a list of books, articles, and other resources I have compiled at this link.

It can be helpful to watch videos of people practicing CBT for psychosis (usually in role plays) – a number of videos are linked to here.

My YouTube channel offers many recorded webinars and other talks on CBT for psychosis, and other approaches to psychosis.

A list of places offering training in CBT and other approaches to therapy for psychosis is available here.

There are a lot of short videos, many designed for people working on recovery and their family members, at Aaron Brinen’s “RecoverWithCBT” channel.

Those interested in the relationship between trauma, dissociation, and psychosis can find a list of resources specific to that topic at this link.

Those interested in the connection between spirituality and psychosis can find resources here.

There’s a collection of resources for family and friends who want to help at this link, and that includes some information about support groups.

Membership in a professional organization dedicated to promoting therapy for psychosis can help, and often have their own links to resources for learning more! Two of interest are the following:

ISPS-US (The US Chapter of the International Association for Psychological and Social Approaches to Psychosis.)

NACBTP (North America CBT for Psychosis Network)

Having a consultant for yourself or for a group can really help in learning to practice CBT for psychosis. I do offer that service if you are interested.
